How to order

Adding things to your shopping basket

1. Browse through the categories or enter some words in the search box to find what you want
2. Choose the variation you want, and check the availability in the stock chart, so you might want a 'Black, Large'
3. Choose how many you want, again checking the availability in the stock chart
4. Then click the 'Add to shopping basket' button and you will be taken to your shopping basket
5. Then just continue shopping and adding things to your basket and when you are done just 'View shopping basket' and click through to 'checkout'

Paying for your stuff

1. The 'paying for it' bit will be easier for you next time you come back if you choose to create an account, but you don't have to create an account to buy from us.
2. You then choose where to post the stuff to, redeem any gift certificates or promotional codes and then you get sent to Protx.
3. Protx take your credit card details and do some fraud screening
4. Then you are sent back to OneOutdoors.co.uk and we say 'Thanks, for shopping with us'

Cancelling an order

If you want to cancel your whole order or just part of your order then you need to email us quickly as we might be about to post your stuff out to you. In your email just include your order number (given to you when you have paid) and what you would like to cancel and we'll do the rest, which might include simply removing part of the order or, if it is right down to the wire and we have charged the full amount to your card details then we will give you a refund straight away for what you want cancelled. You can also telephone us to cancel an order.

Gifts and Gift Certificates

When the time comes for the festive season we will see if we can include a 'Gift Wrap' option in the order process so that anything you want posted as a present can be, we'll keep you posted on that. Gift Certificates are available and are a great way to buy a gift for someone who likes outdoor gear and equipment. All you have to do is add the Gift Certificate to your shopping basket, how much you want you gift to be (so, £5, £10, £50 - your choice) and fill in a few boxes to tell us where to send the gift certificate to and your done. We charge your card and send you a receipt AND we email the important person with their gift certificate coupon code which they can use at any time on OneOutdoors.co.uk

Payment Options

We accept a full range of credit or debit cards as in the picture above, we don't accept American Express because it costs us more to process. We can accept posted cheques but because we have to wait for cleared funds before posting your stuff out you will experience a delay of about 10 working days. Using your credit or debit card is really the safest, most reliable and quickest way to make a payment on OneOutdoors.co.uk

If someone has been very kind and given you a Gift Certificate for use on OneOutdoors.co.uk then you can use that to pay for your order. If the gift certificate is less that the total amount of your order then the gift certificate amount will be deducted from the total and we will ask you to pay the rest by credit card in the normal way. If the gift certificate is greater than the amount of the order then you wont be asked to enter any card details and the amount left on your gift certificate will still be there for you to use again on OneOutdoors.co.uk

Credit Card Transactions

All credit or debit cards transactions from OneOutdoors.co.uk are secured by Protx, which means that you are very safe indeed. When you enter your card details Protx do some checks to reduce fraud but don't actually charge your card. Your card only gets charged when your order is posted to you.

Forgotten Passwords

If you have joined with OneOutdoors.co.uk and therefore have created an account you will need your email address and your password to login. If you don't login then your special discounts wont appear and you will need to go through a longer process a checkout. So, you have tried to login but you have forgotten your password! Don't worry, just click the forgotten password link and you will be asked to enter your email address and click a send button. All this does is instantly send a new password to your registered email address, so just check your email to collect the new password then come back to OneOutdoors.co.uk to login.

Your wish list

Your wish list is absolutely great!. It is a place for you to stick bits of gear for later. Later when you are ready to buy, or later when you are ready to email your wish list to someone in the hope that they will buy the stuff for you (there's always a chance so give it a try). You will find many links to 'Add to wishlist' around OneOutdoors.co.uk and all it will do is add the item you are looking at to your wish list where you can even add a comment about that item which really helps when narrowing down which waterproof shell to get for example. You need to have an account at OneOutdoors.co.uk to use the wish list and that only takes about a minute get set up.

Newsletter

The newsletter gets sent out to people that have accounts (if they want it) and anyone else that has left their email address in the newsletter box. We use the newsletter to inform you all of sales, new products, new brands, when stocks levels are replenished and anything else we can think of that will be usefull to you.
