The Montane Female Terra Pants are womens specific trekking trousers. They are highly specified and can be used year round for loads of different activities and sports because as well as being highly breathable they are also, really durable, weather resistant (rain water will bead up and run off thanks to the Teflon surface finish). Their durability lends them to being a suitable mountaineering trouser also.

The Main Trouser - helps them fit well and the high lift crotch stitching really helps with high step ups; the waist is part elasticated and has a webbing belt, a zipped fly and button closure (so they shouldn't fall down, too often). There are two zipped outer hand pockets and the right hand pockets has a little secret inside, you might have to get a pair to find out. Both thighs have mesh lined zipped vents - open them in the summer for more ventilation but keep them closed in winter or you might get cold.

The Legs - the articulated (pre-bent) knee makes high stepping really easy and the trousers don't bunch up or bind. The ankle cuffs have calf length zips and various popper studs for tightening the cuff around your boots.

The Fabrics- Tactel� has been used for the main fabric and has a great cotton like feel; Cordura� has been used in the high wear areas (bum, knee ankles) for it's high durability.

secret: inside the right hand pocket there is another small mesh zipped security pocket, perfect for those that are going traveling and want to be a bit careful.
